Martin has a B.S. in Physical Education with a background in competitive sports including water polo, swimming and bicycle racing.  He discovered Crossfit in 2007 and that the functional simplicity of the program  physically prepares you to take on new physical challenges and perform well in them.



Tuesdays & Thursdays - 6:30am

With a background in martial arts training and teaching (including a second-degree black belt in taekwondo), Frank started weightlifting in 2007 and started training in CrossFit in 2009. Wanting to share his passion for fitness and strength, he became a CrossFit certified trainer in 2011 and has been coaching at CrossFit Sunnyvale since 2012.



Saturdays 9am & 10am

Certifications: Crossfit Level 1, Certified Athletic Trainer, CPR/First Aid/AED, Kinesio/Rock Taping, BS in Exercise and Sports Science

I walked into my first Crossfit box about 2 years ago and never looked back, I was hooked. After years of running marathons and triathlons, I couldn't seem to find something I actually loved doing as much as the many sports I played growing up (soccer, volleyball and softball). I love Crossfit because it's always something different, you can never get comfortable, once you get good at something another challenge comes along and you are always working to be more proficient or stronger or build a bigger engine, the challenge never ends. Coaching has become a passion, seeing others achieve goals and adopting a healthy lifestyle through crossfit is reward worth more than gold!
